“ما أصرَّ من استغفر؛ وإن عاد في اليوم سبعين مرةً”؛ قال ذلك نبي التوبة يا ولدي.
قال: أدناك الله منه كما أدنيتني منه يا أبتِ؛ قد ظننتُني بكثرة معاودتي المعصية من المُصرِّين.
قال: يا بني؛ ما عزم على التوبة من المعصية قلبُك، واستغفر منها لسانُك، ودافعَها عملُك؛ فلست مُصرًّا؛ إنما المُصرُّ من لا يبالي بالتوبة باطنًا ولا ظاهرًا؛ أعاذك الله أن تكون كذلك.
قال: فإن حدثتني نفسي -مشرفةً على اليأس- أن الله لا يغفر لي ذنبًا أقارفه كثيرًا، وإني لأرجوه المعافاة منه، وأخافه أن يؤاخذني به؛ فما أكلمها به يا أبتِ؛ كلمك الله يوم لا يكلم الظالمين؟
قال: حدثها عن نبيك الهادي هذا الحديث الحادي؛ يوم جاءه رجلٌ، فقال: يا رسول الله؛ كم نعفو عن الخادم؟ فصمت رسول الله، ثم أعاد عليه الكلام فصمت، فلما كانت الثالثة؛ قال رحمة الله للعالمين صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّم: “اعفوا عنه في كل يومٍ سبعين مرةً”، وفي روايةٍ؛ أنه قال: إن لي خادمًا يسيء ويظلم؛ أفأضربه؟ فقال النبي صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّم: “تعفو عنه كل يومٍ سبعين مرةً”.
يا بني؛ سيدٌ من الناس يؤمر بالعفو عن خادمه؛ وإن أساء وظلم كل يومٍ سبعين مرةً؛ ما لأحدنا -عبدًا ذليلًا عليلًا- عند سيده الأعلى تعالى؛ إذا هو أتاه كل يومٍ -مسيئًا ظالمًا- سبعين مرةً؟!
يا بني؛ السيد من الناس تنفعه طاعة خادمه، وتضره معصيته؛ وقد أُمر -مع ذلك- بالعفو عنه؛ ما لك من مغفرةٍ عند غنيٍّ حميدٍ؛ لا تنفعه طاعةٌ وإن جلَّت، ولا تضره معصيةٌ وإن جمَّت؟!
يا بني؛ لقد عظَّم هذا الحرف عن رسول الله رجاء أبيك في رحمة الله تعظيمًا شديدًا، يا بني؛ أحسبك -الآن- وعيت قول نبيك -صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّم- الذي بدأتك به: “ما أصرَّ من استغفر؛ وإن عاد في اليوم سبعين مرةً”، يا بني؛ إذا أكثرت أن تعصي؛ فأكثر أن تعود، يا بني؛ قد أفلح العائدون.
“رباه هذه رأفة نبيِّي، وإشفاق أبي؛ ما لي عندك أنت؟ وأنت أنت”؛ صرخ بها الولد جَذْلَانَ وَجِلًا.
