ليس ابتداعًا في الإسلام أن يذكر العبد ربه بذكرٍ غير واردٍ مبناه في الوحي كتابًا وسنةً؛ إذا كان معناه مقرَّرًا فيهما غيرَ معارَضٍ بشيءٍ منهما، ولا أن يُعَلِّمه غيره، ليس هذا ابتداعًا؛ لكن عليه ألا يعادله بالمشروع فضلًا أو عملًا، وألا يُرَتِّب عليه ثوابًا معيَّنًا في الدنيا أو الآخرة، فأما أن يجد أثره في نفسه أو جسمه أو عقله أو حاله أو ماله أو أهله أو وقته أو غير ذلك، فيُحَدِّث غيره بما وجد؛ فلا بأس.
هذا، وإنه ليس معنًى توحيديٌّ أو تعبديٌّ أو أدبيٌّ (مما يصح بإطلاقٍ)؛ إلا وهو موفورٌ في الوحي كتابًا أو سنةً، تمَّت سعادة عبدٍ نهل من الوحيين ونسج.
